Under the direction of president and CEO Jake Jabs, American Furniture Warehouse has been actively involved with the Colorado community for more than 30 years. For us, giving back is a top priority. As such, American Furniture contributes more than $2 million as well as time and in-kind donations to hundreds of worthwhile organizations each year, including The Muscular Dystrophy Association, Easter Seals Colorado, March of Dimes, Make-A-Wish Foundation and Project C.U.R.E., among many others.

Colorado is home to American Furniture Warehouse, and we are happy to do our part to help our friends and neighbors who need it most.

American Furniture Warehouse concentrates our charitable contributions and support on non-profit organizations with a primary focus on any of the following areas:

• Providing programs and services to those living with disabilities, debilitating or life-threatening illnesses as well as their caregivers
• Researching and/or working toward cures for those living with disabilities, debilitating or life-threatening illnesses
• Improving the quality of life for children and the elderly (For example, nursing homes, schools, educational and health-focused programs, community-building events, etc.)
• Providing assistance to those impacted by natural disasters (For example, fire, flood, tornados, etc.)

If you believe your cause fits the above listed criteria, we welcome your request. If you are unsure about whether or not your organization would qualify for support, we suggest submitting your request anyway, as each submission is evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Donation requests must be submitted in writing on your organization's letterhead. Please include your 501c3 number and/or other proof of non-profit status.

Letters must illustrate how the requested contribution will fit within our key areas of focus as well as how it will improve the lives of the beneficiaries.

Sponsorship proposals must include the above listed information, as well as any other pertinent details about your event or campaign and the benefits of sponsorship.

Please send all written requests and/or proposals to:

• Our review period for all requests is at least six to eight weeks. Please submit your request at least that far out from the time the contribution is needed.
• Because of the number of requests we receive, we are unable to respond to each and every inquiry. We are also not able to provide status updates on a pending request.
• If we are able to grant your request, you will be notified after a decision is made.

• Items for fundraisers/auctions, including merchandise and American Furniture Warehouse gift cards
• Monetary contributions and/or funds matching
• Event sponsorships and community partnerships
• Donations of furniture when possible

• Contributions in consecutive/multiple years
• Support to programs without a Colorado connection
• Donations directly to individuals. (Any donation request for an individual in need must be made through a legitimate non-profit organization or government agency).
